Terms of Service | The Green Maids LLC

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the residential and commercial cleaning services provided by The Green Maids LLC ("The Green Maids", "we", "us"), based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. By booking a cleaning, receiving a quote, or using this website, you ("you", "Customer") agree to these Terms.

2. Quotes & pricing

Instant online estimates are based on the information you provide (square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, add-ons, frequency). The final price may be adjusted on-site after a brief walk-through if the condition of the property differs materially from the details given. Move-In / Move-Out cleanings are quoted manually after review. All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes.

3. Scheduling, rescheduling & cancellation

Bookings are confirmed by us in writing (email or SMS) before your appointment.
You may reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time.
Cancellations or reschedules inside 24 hours may be subject to a $50 late-cancellation fee.
Same-day lockouts (crew unable to access the property) are billed at 50% of the estimated total.

4. Access to your property

You are responsible for providing safe, legal access to the property at the scheduled time (keys, codes, or someone on-site). You represent that you have the right to authorize cleaning at the address you provided.

5. Satisfaction guarantee

If any area we cleaned isn't up to standard, contact us within 24 hours of service and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no charge. Refunds are handled case-by-case at our discretion.

6. Damage & liability

The Green Maids is insured. Report any suspected damage within 48 hours of service so we can investigate. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed or the reasonable cost of repair of the specific item damaged, whichever is lower. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear, items not secured, or items of extraordinary value (art, heirlooms, cash, jewelry) unless you notify us in advance in writing.

7. Supplies & chemicals

We supply eco-conscious cleaning products by default. If you require specific products or prohibit certain chemicals (e.g. allergies, sensitive surfaces), tell us in the booking notes.

8. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Recurring plans are billed per visit. Past-due invoices may accrue a 1.5% monthly service charge.

9. Communications & SMS terms

By providing your email and phone number, you agree to receive service-related communications from The Green Maids (booking confirmations, quote details, reschedule requests, reminders, and follow-ups). If you opt in to SMS, message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from SMS, or HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase.

10. Non-solicitation of staff

You agree not to directly hire or contract any current or former member of The Green Maids team for cleaning services outside of The Green Maids for 12 months after their last day with us. If you do, a placement fee of $2,500 becomes due.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Allen County, Indiana.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
